Can cosign on the Violette lipstick. It's so good. If you want like a really bold lipstick its not for you but if you want something a little more makeupy than a tinted balm, this is it (and you can layer more on to get more of a lip). It's a great low maintenance product!

Ditto on her reds. I prefer her colored balms because I look more like Jack Nicholson’s Joker with a bold red lip. But I’ve tried them and the colors are great.

Really well said. I live in Paris and saw this on insta so many times. Perfect blur of color. Be aware many people find it drying (myself included so I've stopping using as much).

Ok I feel validated because you live there and so many people try to nail the French look and I didn't know if I should add to the convo!

You know, I agree with the drying thing. This is the next best thing I’ve found but it’s def not the same (moisturizing though. Why can’t we just have it all?!) https://www.fresh.com/us/lip-care/sugar-ros%C3%A9-tinted-lip-balm-H00006235.html

What about their other products? The Bisou Balm looks good too...it keeps selling out!

Thank you for the realistic and recent take on the fashion and multiple sources to recreate as I feel like Jan and Feb is a style rut for me before Spring!

Loved all your Paris + Morocco content. I’m heading to Paris in three weeks + this post is so helpful (and reassuring for my mental packing list). Thank you!

P.S. Congrats on the book! I never preordered so quickly in my life.
