What makes it from Round Up to Real World

Starting a new series called IN MY CLOSET, where I am going to break down the staples I actually wear and love. I get so many cute clothes for my job but I only have so much space. This is where I will tell you what makes it from the round up to the real world!

There is one thing I know every woman can agree on: denim is HARD.

DEF happy to have just picked up my Lobby Coffee at the Peninsula in Beverly Hills.

First of all, there’s the fit of the jean. When you’re reaching for a pair, you want it to feel good and fit well. But why does it feel like the ones you have only work 1% of the time?

And then there’s the fashion element. Just when you think you’re caught up to the latest and greatest (RIP skinny jeans, sort of RIP kick flare, where does that leave us, girlfriend? boyfriend? straight leg?) it feels like there is something new.

I’ve done a lot of buying, trying and returning to figure out what works best for me over the years when putting together looks for #SuperSizeTheLook and just for general life.

So this brings us to the 2 styles I am ACTUALLY wearing, reach for, have on repeat, and love. Let’s get into it!

MADEWELL JEANS

Comfort is QUEEN! I flew in these people. To LA. So I am vouching for the comfort and the stretch (they dont over stretch tho!) I love the wide leg silhouette and the color is perfect for spring/summer dressing. Get. These. Take your regular size!

ABERCROMBIE JEANS

Women’s Ultra High Rise 90s Straight (****the link takes you to the general denim page, but they are the ones called Light with Criss Cross Waist Band in the second row all the way left-you can do it!)

If you are like me, you are not driven by trends. However, I like to pick a piece or two to let the people know I am fashion aware lol. The cross over waist band and the wide leg silhouette are very on trend, but I like these because the butt is still fitted and gives a cute lift. Will I wear these forever? No, but I have already worn them at least once a week and havent regretted their entrance into my closet!
