There’s something special about a good work bag that actually works. How do I define this? Something big enough to hold everything I need for a full day and look stylish. Something I don’t have to think about, is always there for me, and helps me get through my day. Oh wait, that’s MK. But a good bag can be like that too!
My career has shifted over the years- that should be a whole other post-but the consistency of my love for a good bag remains.
My absolute favorites are below.
This one is a classic for a reason! I love that the interior includes snaps that allow you to add or remove organizational accessories. I like to throw in a pouch that I am constantly using all day for my credit cards, keys, sunnies, etc.
Melie Bianco Black Adeline Vegan Leather Tote Bag
I just love how lightweight this one is, and the braided handle is a great detail. I’d still throw in some pouches here because sometimes my bags can be a black hole, ha. PS use code Katie15 for a discount, and their Black Friday sale is coming up and everything is 40% off.
Clare Vivier La Tropezienne Tote Bag
I love the lifestyle brand Clare Vivier is building out of LA, everything she makes is so practical but has such a fun flare. This tanned leather color is so dreamy, and it only gets better as it ages. Also, I love how Clare Vivier has a resale part of her site, where you can score second-hand bags for great prices.
I just think this is such a cute gift for yourself or for the mom in your life. The two steps make it so easy to carry a couple of ways. Great price for this one and love the denim.
This is truly such a classic because there are so many ways to go with it. The medium size fits a laptop, and if you want to add a zipper to close it, you can. The long straps go nicely over the shoulders if you are commuting. A medium size with a long strap and a cute monogram plus zipped top is probably the right move if you are going into an office.
What are you toting around?

So funny because I'm using a LL Bean tote bag for work now. However, I'd like something that looks a bit more professional, so I think I might check out the Melie Bianco bag. Thank you for these options!
Im desperately looking for a unicorn of a work bag if anyone has ideas: structured leather (at least structured enough to not flop if not totally full), two sets of straps: over arm and shoulder; feet also preferred for structure, zip top is a must
